Finding the Right College Starts with Finding Yourself
The college search is one of the most exciting - and honestly, most overwhelming - things a family goes through. There's a lot of pressure to chase the most selective schools, but the truth is that the right college isn't the most prestigious one. It's the one where your student will actually thrive.
I didn't set out to be a college counselor, but I fell in love with it working in international schools overseas, helping students apply to colleges in the US and Europe. What I discovered is that the best part of this work isn't the logistics, t's getting to know the kids. Helping them figure out what they're looking for, see the best parts of themselves, and find the words to tell their story in a way that feels genuinely theirs.
Twenty-five years later, that's still what drives me.
